Stuff of The Month : February 2010

We are already in the 2nd week of March, so this post is kinda late. Blame the school and SLB stuff for keeping me busy lol.

Songs of the Month:
1. The whole album Thank You Allah by Maher Zain

Heard this while i'm in a friend's car. I don't listen to nasyeed often but i found Maher's songs are quite different, and i certainly love this!

3. Holy Ghost by 009 Sound System

4. Where The Story Ends by The Fray

5. Somewhere in Between by Lifehouse

Movies of the Month
1. The Prestige

"The secret impresses no one, but the trick you use it for, is everything"
"A man grasp exceeds his expectation"

2. Forever Strong

A debut film by Christiano Ronaldo lol
"I'll show you how to be strong on the field, so that you'll be forever strong of it"
"Good decisions don't make life easy, but they do make it easier"

3. Avenged Sevenfold : Live in The LBC
I first watched this on YouTube, and rewatched it countless time. But i'm not satisfied with the video quality there, which forced me to download the DVD rip. Still, it was too awesome i had to buy the original DVD. Just can't get enough of this band!

Few of the songs played during the concert:

Events of the Month
1. The Arrivals of New Students

This batch got the most new students to date, roughly 150. More than twice my batch (i think so). Lots of new faces and i still can't get around to know each and everyone of them. Later later lah. But perhaps the only negative consequence of having this many new students here is, you'll meet Melayu faces after like, every 10 steps at Rundle Mall and Uni. Fuliao~ Dah macam Indonesians kat Malaysia plak

2. Monarto Safari (almost there) Trip

This was planned exclusively for Epul, since he was like "Jom r pegi safari, jom r pegi safari" everyday during the last week of summer break. He's lucky he's got good friends like us. So there was 12 of us, including Fatin and Capik that just arrived in Adelaide that very morning (i forgot the day), and the transports were Mawar7's The Flashing Red Pajero and err..Capik's The Less Shiny White Falcon.

Unexpectedly, the trip to safari turned to be a dramatic day (kind of). Started off with the Pajero broke down, when we were just 8km from the safari, with the nearest workshop was like in 20km. Waited for about 2 hours for the tow truck to come. Then we got the news that the Pajero is practically gone, since it's got serious engine problem. Cool, now we got to tow back the Pajero to Adelaide.

Next, 7 of us have to go back by bus and here starts the drama "Kejar Bas!!". haha. They missed the last bus back so no other options other than chasing the bus while asking for the driver's to stop. I'm not one of the 7 guys so i can't really imagine how was the situation looked like. But certainly that was one hell of a day

Sekian..

p/s : Managed to get a lot of stuff done today..and certainly feel good about it :D
