1. The largest group of new students this year arrived in Adelaide last Sunday, 14th of February 2010. There were about 40 boys and 60 girls and i was asked to help pick them up at the airport. It has been a tradition here for the seniors to help them settle down in the new environment. Well, my seniors helped me when i first arrived here and now it's my turn to help my juniors. Of course that's not only reason, if you got me. ngahaha
2. The boys were divided into 3 groups and each group was taken to their temporary accommodation, rumah senior je lah. Nak duduk hotel ko bayar lah sendiri. Some pictures below :
siap guna trailer bawak barang² mereka ini
MARA students had a meeting with their advisor, Pn Nora that morning
yg bukan jantan 6 orang je? ape kes ni MARA??
at BankSA, for their new bank account registration the next day
3. I hadn't been able to able to help them as much as i helped last year juniors this time around, since work's been keeping me busy week in week out. Tomorrow is my last catalog delivery session before i quit the job. So i should have much much more free time to mingle around and see what can i do for them, unless the perasan-hensem boss of Swinging Bowl decides to give me more shift (aku ready je anytime boss, tadehal la).
4. A trip to Victor Harbour is another a-must for the new guys and the plan will be put into motion this Sunday (tomorrow). Will report that in upcoming post
5. Though it may be a little late now, but i must say, Welcome to Adelaide! Korang yang ade dengar orang cakap Adelaide bosan la, bandar orang tua la, jangan percaye semua tu. Sesungguhnya mereka dengki dengan suasana Adelaide yang aman damai ni
Sekian
p/s : "Adik - adik" in the title. macam la aku ni tua sangat. ngahahaha
