N97 : The Unboxing

1. Warning! Entri ini tiada niat lain melainkan untuk berlagak, menunjuk dan yang seangkatan dengannya semata-mata. Jika anda rasa meluat dan berfikir "hek eleh mamat ni, macam orang lain takde benda alah tu jugak", saya tak akan menyuruh anda berhenti membaca entri ini, malah saya merayu anda supaya teruskan membaca lagi, biar meluat kaw² sampai muntah pun takpe.


2. Tapi, takde la nak tunjuk ape sangat pun. Setakat alat telekomunikasi yang besar tapak tangan, warna putih, ada camera sikit. Semua orang pun ade.


3. Begini, tengahari tadi aku pergi Rundle Mall dengan Kaisan. Kami berniat untuk renew and upgrade contract phone kitorang dengan Three. Aku memang dah lama berniat nak tukar ke cap 49 dan amek N97. Kaisan pulak, amek iPhone beb! Bertambah lagi sorang ahli komuniti iPhone yang memang dah sedia ramai kat Adelaide ni. Nanti junior² baru sampai next week, memang boleh agak ar diorang nak pakai hp ape kan. Almaklumlah, kat Malaysia kan mahal lagi.

4. Selesai urusan di city, pulanglah daku bermain² dengan permainan baru tersebut. Berikut adalah aku yang jakun membuka kotak hp tersebut.

Siap bagi ad game Guitar Rock Tour lagi. Case pun dapat free. Cun la tu

5. Lepas belek², baling sane, hempas sini, aku berpuas hati la dengan phone ni. Kalau ade komplen pun, batery die agak loose ar bile bukak back-case. Disebabkan aku dah biase main dengan iPod Touch dan iPhone, memang terasa lag sikit la touchscreen N97 ni kalau nak compare dari aspect sensitivity. But no biggie. Will get used to it sooner or later.

6. Kalau aku rajin, aku buat la full review bile aku dah habis teroka phone ni (macam la reti nak buat review). Sekian...

The idea for this post popped up in my head when i was doing my routine catalog delivery this evening. Nothing much, just feel like sharing some of the stuff i listen, watch, read etc etc and i'm going to do this on monthly basis. It could be anything and doesn't necessarily have to be newly released, if you talking about songs and movies. They are just some of the things, if not all, that i enjoy the most during that particular month.

Movies of the Month
1. Avatar

Everybody knows about this movie, with record-breaking box office almost 1.9 billion in total. It knocked out Titanic (also directed by James Cameron) from it's throne, where Titanic held the record for 12 years. Some say this movie is overrated and the more expensive 3D tickets is the reason for the high gross, but it's still a great movie nevertheless. The CGI is just mind-blowing, especially The Floating Hallelujah Mountain.

2. Couples Retreat

I don't know why the critics at RT gave this movie such a low rating (12%), because i certainly enjoyed it. It's just..hilarious! For a normal romantic-comedy like this, there's no need for serious analysis like that. Set no expectations, and enjoy~.


3. 500 Days of Summer

Watched this at Wallis Drive-in Cinema, Gepps Cross. Surely going to watch this again, in Blu-Ray no less.


Events of the Month
1. The Great Ocean Road & Mt Gambier Road Trip

This trip was on early January, planned exclusively for Zubair aka Asi's bf (aku dah promote korang ni, bayar r!). GOR never disappoints me with it's stunning view. Surely i won't mind going there again.


2. Melbourne Food Hunting & Big Day Out Festival


The full post can be read here, though it doesn't have any BDO pictures since i didn't bring my camera during the festival (Din's actually..i need a camera real bad!). Saw Muse, Kasabian, Powderfinger etc etc live there. Oh, Lily Allen was awesome too. I still remember she kicked a cameraman on the stage while performing. Bad girl as ever lol

These are what i have in my mind for the time being. Maybe i'll think of some other categories for the next posts.

p/s : murah rezeki aku 2,3 hari ni. Sabtu melantak nasi briyani(ke nasi minyak ah?) dekat rumah Azam. Pastu tolong orang ni dapat nasi dagang + cheescake, tolong orang tu plak dapat sushi. Alhamdulillah

Peristiwa Misteri Si Maggi

Salam

1. Malam tadi, atau lebih tepat, pagi tadi aku rasa lapar yang amat. Jam sudah menunjukkan lebih pukul 3 am, dan orang pun selalu cakap makan lewat² macam ni boleh gemuk (though aku pun x pasti kenapa that fact macam tak berapa boleh nak apply kat aku :D). Maka bergegaslah aku ke dapur menyelongkar apa² yang boleh dimakan. Tak banyak option yang ade, hanya maggi yang tinggal.

2. Macam biase lah. Panaskan air, letak maggi dalam mangkuk, bukak perencah dan tabur atas maggi dalam mangkuk tu. 2-3 minit kemudian, air panas pun masak dan aku pun tuangla air dalam mangkuk tu. Tapi...sedang aku tuang air tu, aku rasa musykil. Musykil yang amat sampai tergaru² kepala. Puas aku terfikir, pasal ape la musykil sangat ni.

3. Fikir punye fikir, aku pun terpandang la plastic maggi sebelah mangkuk tu. Laaaaa..patut la!

4. Hampeh betul. Macam mane la aku boleh terlupa langsung yang aku tengah buat maggi goreng. Nak repair balik memang tak dapat la. Sebab aku dah letak perencah sekali dalam mangkuk tu, siap dah larut pun lepas aku tuang air tu. Lantak la. Aku rase sikit kuah tu, ade jugak la rasa maggi. So, tak perlu la membazir nak buat baru.

5. Mengikut buku teks Syariah yang aku belajar kat sekolah dulu, "zalim" bermaksud tidak meletakkan sesuatu pada tempat yang betul. Jadi, aku telah berlaku zalim ke atas maggi tersebut. Sila maafkan daku yeh cik maggi!

6. Hari Isnin (semalam), aku pergi Coles cari barang² sikit. Sampai dekat section sayur², aku usha la halia. Mak datuk harga die!

Kalah harga seafood wo! Masalah halia ni pun pernah dinukilkan oleh Tokey Swinging Bowl (restoran melayu kat Adelaide) yang perasan hensem tersebut. Boleh dibaca di sini.

7. Weekend yang best untuk fan Man United. 3-1 win over Arsenal, impressive i'd say. The scoreline didn't really do justice to Arsenal, but they only have themselves to blame since they squandered sooo many chances to go ahead during the game. Again, Rooney was the man and Nani continued to be a revelation these past few games. The build up to the first goal gave me a chill, it's almost as if i saw the reincarnation of Ronaldo in Nani. Hope they'll keep this momentum going
